Power to effect change

The future that we will eventually live is not formed by means of wishes or desire but they are created by the decisions of today as well as their corresponding actions. It’s a true saying that the life we live today is a sum total of the decisions we made yesterday. How powerful can these eight letter word - decision be?
The power in the eight letter word – decision has not ceased to prove its efficacy to those who use it wisely as well as those who don’t, but with different outcomes. You are wise if you understand that life works in seasons. Most people work out their lives calling all sorts of unnecessary and unwarranted palaver because they lack the knowledge of this fundamental truth – things happen in their seasons.

I appreciate the art and science of farming, it’s a beauty observing a wise and diligent farmer, he sure understands seasons. On the other side of the matter, you will rightly observe that the world is getting faster by the moment, everybody wants the next thing now (well, who won’t, if they have the means to) even before its due season. Most people strive for such getting not really because it’s a serious need they can’t do without, this is the conscious voluntary aspects of the matter. The unconscious dimension of it is that such people do not really understand time and seasons.

The subject is quite important in determining success or failure. Most people do so much, breaking, pulling, shoving and striving to achieve various desires. Of course the possibility allows that anyone can achieve anything if they choose and work towards it. But when things are done out of their seasons progress may turn out to be only temporal.

It’s amazing how things change, in just a moment, with just one decision, at the pull of a switch. There is one switch everyone goes around with, at the pull of which you can dramatically transform situations and indeed your world. But how can you do that? And what sort of switch could that be? Conditions are controlled by seasons? When seasons change, other related or sub facilities follow suit. The good thing here is that you can change the seasons that determine your situations, as everyone can. This is one remarkable virtue possible to man. Decisions create seasons. Decision is that switch available to anyone to practically change situations. The disparity of opportunity that comes to people can be directly attributed to the difference in their decisions. Decisions create seasons. Control the seasons of your life by pulling the right switch.

3 Keys To Keep Up With A Goal

Everyday day is a seed, it comes with opportunity enough to solve problems, meet needs and improve self. A society is only as improved and developed as its inhabitants are informed and developed. It is like a system, where one person's improvement can influence that of the whole. In the strive to meet daily challenges, amidst much commitments, commitments are miss committed. Like in a football game, the objective of each team is to hit the goal as many times as possible to win (as long as they do this more than their opponent). But some games sadly end barren. And one would wonder a full match could not produce a goal. Your ability to see patterns and understand them determines passage, in the maze of affairs. Like in a football game, each team is strategically structured to stop the other from scoring while they themselves work to score. A team will definitely score when they see the pattern through the other team's opposition. Everything in life has a pattern. That's why success is not always of strength or skill, but working according to the natural laws about anything. There are three simple yet important keys that will help one keep track of one's goal, unfavorable situations not withstanding

1. Focus: when you find purpose, focus on it. This is according to the law of sequence. First things first, you can't focus on what you don't see; you can't take what you have not discovered. It's one thing to have a goal; it's another to have another goal. There will always be goals to achieve. As long as there is progress in any venture there would be new problems and innovative demands. For these to be met, goals sometimes need to be set amidst existing ones thereby increasing commitment and possibility of losing sight on the most important things. When it gets tough in football match, a team might lose focus on goals while trying to handle the surging offense of the other team. The sun will burn out flesh with the help of a convex lens, ordinarily it can't. You must not necessarily abandon every other commitment just to achieve one goal, that's not wise, is it? Focus in concise definition is giving each goal or commitment the justified required attention in its given time.

2. Consistency: with consistent heat, a stone will dissolve in boiling water. There is no progress in inconsistency. You will be a pioneer in what you initiated, but if you start a thing and show consistent improvement over time you will perfect in it. Consistency is not mediocrity. Mediocrity is maintaining the status quo (even when the status quo is below standard). Consistence is continual progress no matter how slow or gradual.

3. Persistence: consistency is not always possible without persistence. Consistent progress is not without obstacles and failures but it's in the ability to rise and still improve. With persistence, consistent heat will dissolve a stone in boiling water; that's a proverb anyway. One cardinal virtue and common factor in every worthy achievement is you guessed right, determination. As much as I know it is not always an inborn virtue, it's developed like many other virtues. The world will wait for a determined man.

He is not in haste

Time is not always against him
Usually he is against time
With consistent determination he focus on the goal
To achieve it
The world will wait for him
Because he rides on the back of three
Three cardinal virtues that nature respects.

Where Did All The Time Go?

On the event day suddenly it downs on her like the sudden appearance of an expected guest unprepared for. Not that it was regarded as unimportant but the consciousness of its importance was beclouded by other preoccupation. It is very easy to regret and painful as well; but it is more painful to see yourself repeat the same mistakes you regretted over. Regret is not a bad thing on its own; either of two remarkable situations occur at the point of regret.

A defining moment is created which subsequently results in a turning point (this could be in either direction). One might decide to turn a new leaf for the best; the other might be so disappointed that they retrogress to the mercy of their mistakes. Regrets could spare disaster for some people it can as well create the necessary motivation for improvement.

As our faces are different so are our problems, needs, purpose, opportunity and direction of life. However, every person’s day is made up of 24 hours; none has more or less of it. Opportunity is created when time is used purposefully and efficiently. Time is the most convertible commodity you have, to trade for what you want; time is also the most volatile resource you can lose.
Ones strength or weakness can be determined when it matters the most. What a man cannot overcome becomes his temptation. What you are willing to walk away from you have mastered. What you cannot walk away from has mastered you – Mike Muddok
A lot of people desire to achieve success even when they have utter disregard for time management. It is amazing how people come to sudden realization of what has befallen them or what they have done to themselves for not using their time purposefully. Not being responsible with time is the quickest route
to mediocrity.
At the initial stage into a venture people tend do well, they put good effort and resource into it expecting to do even better with time. But the time factor will always play its role in deciding ones progress or decline. When one comes into a new environment there is a slight change in behavior, attitude and response to situation different from ones conventional methods; when one has fully adapted to that environment one of two things happen he lives out his normal life as used to before he came into that environment or he is challenged by the situation in the new environment to either work for the best or take a negative orientation that will eventually not help his mission. In the course of time during the process of adaption one could lose focus of ones main objective of being in that environment
or utilize his opportunity to achieve his objectives for being in that environment.

In deed there is a time and a season for everything. The knowledge of this truth will help you act wisely as well as position yourself for the opportunity each season brings. They say time cannot be bought but they are the most wasted resource available to each person. The problem with time management and utilizing available time to achieve needed result is not that people don’t know what to do; they often
lack the ability to carry out that which must be done.

The strength of a person is showed when he finds ability to do that which he knows is right and necessary. Our problem is not always the lack of opportunity but the ability to make result out of that opportunity. Sometimes it gets really difficult to find time in doing what should be done, majority of the hindrance people encounter is not the lack of time though, but our inability to focus and apply the right approach to getting things actualized. It’s very important to have a single eye. However having focus in life does not take away life’s problems neither does it get job done. Focus does three things;
It creates order even in the most chaotic atmospheres; it gives meaning to purpose; put your purpose in focus. When you begin to see what others do not see you start solving problems. Focus buys you time. You cannot buy time but you can buy time. With focus you get to accomplish more with less time.
